Dialogic unveiled Thursday new versions of its Software Development Kit and Resource Development Kit for its CT Media version 2.1 telephony server software.
The key additions to the Software Development Kit include an administration framework, which helps manage a system with multiple applications from multiple vendors, and an expanded line of PCI hardware, says Avi Greengart, senior product marketing manager at Parsippany-based Dialogic, an Intel company.
The Resource Development Kit allows any hardware vendor to port its technology under CT Media and take advantage of all the CT Media applications, Greengart says.
Both kits are available in March for free, he says. "We are trying to encourage people to build technologies that will work under CT Media," he adds.
Michael Carpenter, president of solution provider CT Source, Marblehead, Mass., says that with CT Media, interoperability between applications is almost guaranteed. The new offerings from Dialogic will help advance program development, he says.
