PC Expo attendees can get the hard facts about new products at the CRN Test Center at PC Expo, presented from June 26 to 28.

Located in the Javits Center's Crystal Pavilion, 10 engineers will present in-depth analysis of 35 products live on stage. Among the products will be Microsoft Visio 2002 Professional, Compaq's iPaq Pocket PC with iPaqnet Mobile Internet with Ricochet and a 23.1-inch LCD display from Viewsonic.

The CRN Test Center opens with an hourlong look at the Wi-Fi platform, previously known as 802.11b. Participating in the panel discussion will be Technical Editor Frank J. Ohlhorst, representatives from Wi-Fi vendors Linksys and SMC and representatives of solution provider eVero. Preston P. Forman, Deputy Managing Editor of CRN, will moderate the panel.

CRN Test Center Director John Yacono will again build the Ultimate PC each day at noon. This year's machine features a 1.4GHz Advanced Micro Devices Athlon processor and an envious assortment of components.

Vendor representatives will be interviewed during product demonstrations, and questions from the audience are encouraged. Reviews will be posted at crn.com and printed versions will be published in July issues of CRN.
