Accenture, Siebel Team For Government CRM

The solutions, called "constituent relationship management," will help government agencies, many of which are facing tighter budget constraints, become more efficient while also increasing service levels for constituents.

Accenture already has a global practice dedicated to the government market, while Siebel provides a suite of e-government applications to help agencies interact with their constituents across multiple channels.

The Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation is one of the first government agencies to take advantage of the Accenture/Siebel combination, leveraging Siebel products for an e-licensing and e-permitting solution. Other clients include the U.S. Department of Education, the District of Columbia Office of Tax and Revenue and the State of Michigan Department of Treasury.
