When New York-based e-consulting firm TIS Worldwide said this week it had gotten a multimillion-dollar shot in the arm, we took notice.
While press releases from e-business solution providers, ISVs and other new economy companies trumpeting their latest equity influx used to come fast and furious into our inboxes, the chilly winds blowing up Wall Street pretty much silenced that kind of public relations horn-blowing.
Nonetheless, TIS says it received $23 million in capital from Silverline Technologies, Westbury Equity Partners and several other funding outfits.
TIS executives say the investment will go toward the development of more FLITE-branded e-business development and testing centers, branding campaigns and other projects.
TIS is one of Sun's latest iForce partners. Get more details here.
