Avasta, SiteRock Merge; Portera To Be Acquired By Undisclosed Company

Avasta SiteRock

Customers were asking for a broader set of solutions, which brought the companies together, said David Zinman, vice president of marketing for Avasta.

Zinman said the merger expands the new company's capabilities by combining Avasta's automated platform for managing enterprise applications and SiteRock's service quality measures. SiteRock is ISO 9001-certified and Information Technology Infrastructure Library-certified, company officials said.

The new company, called Avasta, has 50 customers and 60 employees and works with about 200 partners including Accenture.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
