The company is pricing the FileNet Web Content Management application at $125,000 for a two-CPU system and $195,000 for a four-CPU system.

"What [the newly integrated package allows me to do is leverage existing investments in FileNet repositories, both push and pull content from those repositories to Web sites," said Martyn Christian, senior vice president of marketing at FileNet.

He said the company sees the biggest opportunity for its Web content management software in portal deployments. The software currently has portlets for SAP, Microsoft and Plumtree portals and the company is developing portlets for IBM and BEA Systems portals.

"The one area that we are seeing requests for left, right and center is for intranet Web sites," Christian said.
