AT&T, Sun Team On Managed Services

The agreement calls for Sun to market AT&T's managed services, including hosting, security and network management. The services will be backed by Sun professional services and platforms.

VARs, systems integrators and ISVs are being tapped to sell the services, according to AT&T. Services available for resale range from application performance, database, and hardware and OS systems management to storage services, global load balancing and VPN.

VARs and integrators will have personalized, private access to information about the performance of their customer's applications and infrastructure, AT&T said.
