LaserFiche Delivers Web-Based Document Management Software Suite

The company, which supplies document imaging and workflow software through a VAR channel to municipalities, school districts and midmarket businesses, is positioning its LaserFiche United software as an enterprise document management solution for mainstream companies.

"We've made it a lot easier for our resellers to make some very powerful integrations with the architecture that enterprises already have in place," said Tom Wayman, director of marketing for LaserFiche.

The suite provides full-text retrieval, Web distribution and workflow capabilities. A LaserFiche Plus module handles CD publishing for disaster recovery.

Wayman said installations range from $20,000 to $100,000.

LaserFiche has about 830 solution providers in North America, and 95 percent of the company's sales go through channel partners, he added.
