Cape Clear Offers Free Web Services Tool

Cape Clear

The Cape Clear WSDL Editor is available now for free download from www.capeclear.com/wsdleditor/. The tool provides wizards for graphical WSDL development.

Wizards included in the WSDL Editor enable developers to view and edit WSDL files, as well as create Web services, including service definitions, port types, binding, template operations and messages, according to Cape Clear.

WSDL is an XML-based language used to describe Web services. Along with SOAP and UDDI, it has become one of the three leading standards on which the industry is basing initial Web services development.

Yet while companies such as Cape Clear are busy providing a new brand of XML-based Web services tools, some solution providers say those tools are premature given the current market conditions.
