So Spicer and crew formed Flamenco Networks and set out to develop a network connection between developers, Web services providers and end users. The Flamenco Network, which includes security, metering and billing features that help developers implement Web services, will soon be licensed so that solution providers can resell it or brand it as their own. Flamenco launched a channel program in January 2002 and is seeking partners.
