The services include proactive monitoring and resolution of circuit issues for Sprint frame relay and ATM sites. The service also offers customer notification and network-connectivity loss verification.

A Web-based tool gives customers the ability to manage the capacity and performance of their network and validate Sprint service-level agreements. The tool is based on Visual Networks' WAN performance management system and the Visual UpTime platform.

Through its Managed Channel Service/Data Service units, Sprint manages WAN and LAN devices such as routers, hubs, switches, servers and applications. Other managed services include IP VPN, security and hosting.
