CDW Wins Federal Electronic Commodity Store Contract

ECSIII is a multiple-award, five-year contract that includes five one-year extensions the government can exercise.

In addition, CDW Government, a wholly owned subsidiary of CDW Computer Centers, Vernon Hills, has teamed with Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC) to provide IT consulting, systems integration and infrastructure operations services to ECSIII customers.

"We believe our new relationship with SAIC combines the strengths of each company to simplify the purchasing process for ECSIII customers," Jim Shanks, president of CDW Government, said in a statement.
