The center offers free technical support and software integration consultations.

Partner requests, primarily related to integration questions and challenges, are fed to Sterling's technical and business staff, which follow up in face-to-face or phone meetings. The partner keeps track of customer projects through Partner Track, a database listing the status of each project, which comes in handy should the partner choose to turn project management over to Sterling.

"With our National Sales Center, we don't compete with our channel partners. Instead, we work even closer with them to streamline projects and help their customers," said Patrick Beyer, vice president of channel sales for the Americas at Sterling, in a statement.

The company is a subsidiary of SBC Communications.
