Netgear Launches SOHO 802.11g USB 2.0 Wireless Adapter

The WG121 54-Mbps Wireless USB 2.0 Adapter combines USB 2.0 technology with 802.11g wireless speeds, aimed at allowing users to realize the maximum 54 Mbps benefits of the 802.11g standard.

The new adapter, which carries a retail price of $79.95, also features new antenna technology designed to deliver greater range and provide home and small-business users with an easy-to-install, portable, high-speed wireless solution, according to Santa Clara, Calif.-based Netgear.

The company's Smart Wizard install assistant is incorporated with the product, which is housed in a platinum case and supports Microsoft Windows 98, ME, 2000 and XP.
