Avnet Technology Solutions Names New Supply Chain VP

In this role, Dardick will be responsible for the strategic development and daily management of integrated supply chain services for both suppliers and customers at Avnet Technology Solutions, a Tempe, Ariz.-based operating group of Avnet that includes Avnet Hall-Mark, Avnet Enterprise Solutions and Avnet Applied Computing.

Dardick most recently was vice president of operations and supply chain at GE Access, where he was responsible for order fulfillment, inventory planning and procurement, distribution and logistics, product assembly, sourcing and marketing operations.

Dardick replaces Bob Nail, who resigned in May as senior vice president of supply chain management worldwide.

Nail was named in a lawsuit filed May 13 in U.S. District Court in Phoenix by a former Avnet employee. The suit alleges that Nail participated in a scheme to install counterfeit parts into Compaq computers and then sell them to customers. The former employee also claims he was the victim of age discrimination and suffered emotional distress.
