PeopleSoft Readies J.D. Edwards Integration Tools

The Pleasanton, Calif., company said it would ship Wednesday seven "pre-integration" connectors that would enable customers to link PeopleSoft Enterprise, formerly known as PeopleSoft 8, with EnterpriseOne, formerly called J.D. Edwards 5.

EnterpriseOne includes real estate management, asset lifecycle management and advanced planning applications. The Enterprise product family includes strategic sourcing, human resources, and customer relationship management software.

PeopleSoft completed its $1.7 billion acquisition of J.D. Edwards in August. The company is still fighting off a $7.25 billion hostile takeover bid from Oracle Corp.
