Peregrine Launches New Partner Programs

At its Synergy02 users and developer conference here, Peregrine will launch the Peregrine Connections Program and the Peregrine Connections ISV Program, a company spokeswoman said. Both programs are available Monday.

The Peregrine Connections Program is made up of two tiers--the Technology Alliance program, which promotes interoperability between Peregrine software and other vendors' applications, and the Solution Alliance program, which opens new distribution channels for solution providers and ISVs, she said.

The Connections Program features collaborative business planning, customized marketing campaigns, joint marketing programs and improved communications between Peregrine and partners. Program members also receive training, certifications and sales leads from Peregrine, as well as pre- and post-sales support, said the spokeswoman.

The Peregrine Connections ISV Program provides ISVs with support for applications built on Peregrine's platform and integration technologies, according to Peregrine. Program benefits are similar to those in the Connections Program, including joint marketing of products with Peregrine and training and certification.
