BEA Alliance Architect Stepping Down

Rauline Ochs, vice president of worldwide alliances, has left the company, a company spokeswoman confirmed. Her departure follows that of Rich Farber, former vice president of partner programs. He has since joined IBM.

A former IBM channel architect herself, Ochs was brought in by company co-founders Alfred Chuang and William Coleman more than a year ago. Her mission: help BEA shift its business from a direct to an indirect model, and help attract world-class partner's to BEA's programs.

In her absence, Gamiel Gran, vice president of strategic alliances, will take on some of her responsibilities. Gran is a former Oracle channel executive who joined BEA after serving as vice president of business development for Asera.
