Netarx became one of Ingram's first xSP Premier Partners, and their software is now part of Ingram's huge product catalog. This means customers can assemble a network-management system with off-the-shelf components that could rival those sold by the IBMs and CAs of the world. Netarx is also an Advanced Technology Partner for Remote Network Operations for Cisco, which means that Cisco recommends the company to help manage its own IP telephony solutions.

Netarx network management software and services are designed to manage IP telephony and voice-over-IP applications, which are more sensitive to network congestion and outages than ordinary file- and print-sharing applications because they depend on quality of service and network latency metrics and consume huge amounts of network bandwidth. Unlike its competitors' suites, Netarx NMS doesn't require high initial costs, excessive implementation resources, steep learning curves, or the ongoing need for expensive hardware and software upgrades.

Only time will tell whether these partnerships will bring Netarx success and recognition of its software prowess, but it's a strategy few could fault.
