D&H To Donate 1Percent Of Sept. 11 Sales to Red Cross

"On this anniversary, D&H wants to make a gesture of support that will aid those who are still healing. A sales-based donation lets our resellers contribute to that effort along with us if they would like," said Dan Schwab, vice president of marketing at Harrisburg-based D&H, in a statement.
"As Americans, we've all been finding ways to show unity as a nation," Schwab said. "The fact that our economy and way of life has been able to endure is a tribute to us all. As a business, this allows D&H and its customers to offer some of their resources and show continued support."
Since last Sept. 11, the Red Cross has distributed $643 million to 55,000 people directly affected by the terrorist attacks, according to the organization. Another $200 million will be given out by the end of the year, according to the Red Cross.
