UpShot Unveils Mobile CRM Solution

The solution, UpShot Alerts, gives sales executives the ability to set parameters for alerts such as a text message sent to a cell phone if the status of a pending deal changes.

"What's happening is executives in charge of many people and deals can't keep track of everything and they are missing their numbers for the quarter," said Keith Raffel, chairman and founder of UpShot, based here. "Our solution keeps them on top of deal statuses by sending out an alert, say, when the close of a deal is pushed out."

Alerts can be sent to a cell phone or pager via SMS text messaging or e-mail to a desktop PC, RIM BlackBerry or Web-enabled PDA.

UpShot Alerts is available now as part of UpShot XE at no additional cost. XE is an enterprise version of UpShot's Web-based CRM platform introduced in February of this year.
