NTT/Verio Offers Resellers Incentive To Get Clients To Switch

The program, effective through Nov. 15, pays out cash based on the hosting plan that customers select. The setup fee also is waived, and NTT/Verio helps solution providers migrate their customers to its hosting facilities.

Under the company's viaVerio program, resellers offer SMB customers Web hosting services on shared, virtual private servers or managed private-server platform, domain-name registration and e-commerce solutions. Solution providers participating in viaVerio get volume discounts, private-label opportunities and technical, marketing and sales support.

"By having all accounts with one hosting provider, viaVerio resellers can realize larger volume discounts, priority reseller support and a single source for account management and billing," Doug Schneider, president of Verio's SME Hosting business unit, said in a statement.
