Voda One Partners With Sumaria Networks For Avaya Training

Through the agreement, Voda One, an Avaya-focused subsidiary of Westcon Group, will be able to provide authorized solution providers with training on Avaya's IP Office line, Definity, Merlin Magix, Eclips, the Cajun family of products, and Internet Call Center.

More than 80 courses and workshops will be available from Sumaria Group in Pasadena, Calif., Denver, Chicago, New York, Boston, Cincinnati and Orlando. Training also can be provided on-site at solution providers' facilities upon request. Scheduling and course information is available on Voda One's Web site under Training Tracks, according to the company.

"We understand that by offering effective hands-on training, we increase our business partners' ability to be more competitive," said Eva Fujan, vice president of sales and marketing at Pittsburgh-based Voda One. "The degree of understanding one has of a product or technology can often become the difference in who gets to pursue the opportunity."
