The Provo-based software vendor said key personalization and security infrastructure are tightly integrated with Novel Portal Services, but that the release can also integrate with other portal solutions.

Other features include an AltaVista Search engine, the ability to create online community Web sites without IT intervention or Web development expertise, and the ability to run on e-business platforms such as Solaris, Windows NT/2000, Linux and Novell NetWare, the company said.

Novell Portal Services 1.5 is available in English, Portuguese, French, Italian, German, Spanish and Japanese for $59 per user or $49,000 per CPU through Novell Authorized Resellers and solution providers.
