Network Associates, based here, said it will add Traxess' DragNet stream-to-disk forensic technology to its own Sniffer Technologies network analyzer platform by the second quarter of 2003.

DragNet is designed to operate at gigabit speeds and enables the collection and analysis of data after it is written onto a disk storage subsystem, according to Network Associates. Users can reconstruct a Web session, reproduce a transferred file via file transfer protocol (FTP) or recreate an e-mail without affecting the capture process.
