Hyperion on Monday launched software for managing the quality of financial and analytical data.
Hyperion System 9 Financial Data Quality Management is marketed as helping financial institutions lower the cost of compliance and improve the productivity of finance staff. In addition the software includes an option for pushing consolidated results to tax preparation applications, reducing the time and cost of a largely manual and error-prone process, officials with the Santa Clara, Calif., company said.
The new tool, which includes a Web-based guided workflow user interface, expands on the core foundation layer of Hyperion System 9, the company's flagship business process management platform. In addition, the new release has adapters for connecting to the Hyperion Master Data Management tool, which focuses on data consistency across business processes.
The Hyperion System 9 Financial Data Quality Management system is currently available. Pricing was not disclosed.
