ScanSource Security Distribution launched a new online resource to connect solution providers and identification card printer manufacturers. <P> The ID Center Web site serves up information on products and services related to the production of ID cards such as card printers, digital cameras, software and accessories. All of the products featured are available through ScanScource, Greenville, S.C., and solution providers can place orders online. <P> "We created this resource for our reseller customers to allow them to quickly and easily obtain information on the latest in identification, as well as learn about new and incremental growth opportunities for their company through our in-depth product information and educational content," said Tony Sorrentino, vice president of merchandising at ScanSource Security Distribution, in a statement. <P> Sales tips, advice on breaking into new vertical markets and information on promotions also are available. Several vendors are highlighted on the Web site, including Card HolderZ, Datacard, Fargo, nfive, Synercard and Zebra Card Printer Solutions.
