MSP platform vendor Kaseya has added some new tricks to its IT Managed Service Automation software.
Introduced this week, version 4.7 of Kaseya's IT Management Framework now offers a mobile feature that automatically pushes out trouble tickets to mobile devices, where they can be processed and updated. The San Francisco-based company said the new version includes support for Microsoft's new Windows Vista operating system and its 64-bit Windows platform.
Version 4.7 also brings a new feature that documents and delivers as a report the start, duration, and completion of remote client access procedures, in accordance with administrative policy, Kaseya said.
In addition, as part of the support for Vista, the latest IT Management Framework has been brought up to speed on the security front, with added support and automation for Windows patching across multiple devices, the company said.
The Kaseya platform, too, is being offered in some new languages in an effort to appeal to a global MSP market, according to Kaseya. Version 4.7 is currently available in English and Spanish, but versions in Brazilian Portuguese, German, Italian, French and simplified Chinese are slated to come out this year, the company said.
