1 All new products must be IPv6-compliant, unless approved by an agency CIO.
2 Products or systems defined as IPv6-compliant must receive, process and transmit or forward IPv6 packets.
3 IPv6 systems should interoperate with other systems, including those running IPv4 modes of operation.
4 Non-IPv6-compliant products must have a migration path to incorporate IPv6.
5 Agencies must have contractor support for development, implementation and product management.
6 Agencies must provide progress reports on IPv6 transitions.
