Avnet Technology Solutions has launched a private-label leasing program for solution providers to offer hardware, software, services and financing into a single lease.
Avnet Capital Solutions also allows solution providers to offer financing that is vendor-neutral or involves multiple vendors.
"Our partners want to be trusted advisors to their customers, and leasing is a great way to help them achieve this goal," said Lisa Friesenhahn, vice president of leasing, services and remarketing sales at Avnet Technology Solutions, Americas, in a statement. "Through leasing, partners can help their customers afford the latest technology with lower upfront costs, while allowing them to take advantage of future technology advances."
Through the program, the Tempe, Ariz.-based distributor can provide end-user assessments, structuring of the leasing deals, and presentation support.
Leasing has become a more popular financing option for solution providers, according to several distributors. Earlier this month, Ingram Micro finished retooling its leasing programs for SMB customers to include for financing managed services, software-only solutions and for public sector customers.
