Today is the start of a new era. We've been a companion to the Channel for 25 years and I am very excited to introduce you to our new company -- Everything Channel. Whether you know us as CMPChannel, CRN, VARBusiness, ChannelWeb or through our events (XChange), services, tools, research or education (IPED) today we have become an independent Channel focused company.
What does this mean to you? Our new independence gives us a new strength. We are better aligned for growth. We will continue to provide you with solutions to grow your business. Over the past several months we brought new tools to the Channel such as: eXalt's state-of-art online "solutions workflow system" to accelerate product sales and build proposals; MTC's tool that accelerates incentive deployment and tracks ROI; and M&A's forum to sell and buy companies. We have just acquired Vision events which gives us a deeper international reach and a forum to connect those that buy from the Channel directly with you.
No other company in our space can compete with the breadth of services that we offer. We intend to use our new found independence to widen that gap, to unlock and accelerate the growth that is clearly present across our product lines with the clear goal of growing your business.
We have a very clear strategic vision for our business: Everything Channel - The Global Leader in Channel Execution. Our business will continue to help you find new, innovative ideas that help generate sales, learn best practices for business operations, identify new technology opportunities, stay on top of emerging trends and offer guidance on the right technology to recommend and buy. And from a branding to point of sale, we will deliver the tools that touch you at every point of contact in the purchasing process.
We are very excited to embark on this unique opportunity " to continue to lead the Channel " and create a world-class company dedicated to the growth of the Channel.
