Epson America Tuesday launched its ImageWay Partner Program, a new initiative for projector resellers.
ImageWay has two tiers, elite and preferred, which include partners who are just starting to build a business with Epson as well as those who do high-volume reselling.
Accessible through a Web portal, the new channel program provides VARs with tools and information about sales incentives; marketing and technical support; an exclusive finance program; education and training. Members also will be able to get information via e-mail alerts and newsletters.
A central feature of ImageWay is the program's sales support that helps VARs develop business opportunities and information about closing critical sales. Epson said that the services include substantially discounted demonstration equipment, free evaluation products, pre-sales support, discounts for government and educational institutions, and sales incentives.
Although Epson has other partner programs, they differ from ImageWay as they are not specifically targeted at the IT reseller channel.
Those programs include: Epson Envision Partner program, a POS printer VAR channel program for dealers; Epson Brighter Futures program, an end-user education market program; Home Entertainment channel program; Pro Audio Visual Integrator channel program, which covers midlevel to high-end pro projectors; Pro Focus Large Printer channel program and the Pro Focus solvent printer channel program.
