Samsung has tapped former NEC executive Doug Albregts as vice president of sales and marketing in the company's peripherals division.
Albregts will oversee all IT products including LCD monitors, notebook PCs, printers, projectors and professional displays. He will head the development of next-tier marketing and sales strategy in Samsung's B2B market.
Previously, Albregts was vice president of marketing at NEC-Mitsubishi Electronics Display of America until 2007 when he joined Richardson Electronics as vice president and general manager for its Display Systems Group, which manufactured display solutions for the health care, OEM and digital signage markets.
