Female role models: "As with mentors, there are many females I have worked with or know that have influenced who I am as a person or how I lead. My mom has been a terrific role model in terms of instilling a sense of duty, responsibility and work ethic. While she did not have a career, per se, she was certainly CEO of the household and led many, many volunteer efforts in every community in which we lived. I have also learned as much from the men I've worked for -- getting their perspective on how to succeed 'as a woman's in a man's world' is as valuable as getting that perspective from other women."
