Years in channel: 15

Goals for this year: "We've chosen to invest specifically in helping our partners grow in the true small business and midsize enterprise 'sweet spot,' defined as companies that have under $500 million in annual revenue. Approximately 55 percent of our SME business is channel-led today, and we want to increase it to 100 percent as rapidly as possible. We've strengthened our product portfolio as well as partner services with this in mind."

Executives you admire: John Chambers, CEO of Cisco

Female role models: "In my early career at IBM I worked on the R&D (engineering) side of the business. At that time, there were few women who were senior managers in the organizations that I worked within. I think that these women were collectively role models for me as I watched them lead successful organizations during a time when it was not as acceptable for women to have more senior roles. What I found most interesting about this is how well they cared for one another and supported one another. I was fortunate to be identified as a high potential and they all took a keen interest in my success and as such I was mentored by them."
