N-able Technologies named JP Jauvin to be COO of the managed services platform vendor, according to the company.

Jauvin previously was vice president of sales at NetPro Computing and Fastlane Technologies, both of which were acquired by Quest Software. He will report to N-able President and CEO Gavin Garbutt and be responsible for worldwide strategy and operations, executing programs and ensuring that N-able's technology, services and channel initiatives deliver value to channel partners worldwide, according to Garbutt.

“JP has a proven talent for taking businesses to the next level without losing sight of what made the company great to begin with, and that’s exactly what we’re looking for in a COO,” Garbutt said in a statement.

Earlier in his career, Jauvin was responsible for the worldwide business intelligence channel at Cognos. He has more than 25 years of experience in the software industry and IT channel, according to N-able. “N-able is an innovative company with a keen focus on ensuring the success of its channel partners and an unwavering commitment to delivering the best possible products and enablement resources in the IT channel,” said Jauvin in a statement.
