TradeCard Taps Former SAP Exec For Channel Chief Post

According to an announcement scheduled for Thursday and obtained by CRN.com, TradeCard has appointed the former SAP channel executive as senior vice president of global channel management. Clinton’s task is “to develop and grow [the company’s] global channel program and drive new revenue from partnerships with resellers, alliance partners, systems integrators and software companies.”

Clinton joined TradeCard from SAP where he was global vice president of multi-channel programs and marketing. Before SAP he held channel management and business development posts at EMC and Citrix. He was named to the 2010 Everything Channel list of software channel chiefs.

“Building a high-performance channel program is critical in continuing the rapid growth of our platform and it is a top priority for our senior management team and board of directors,” TradeCard CEO Kurt Cavano said in a statement. “Chris brings to TradeCard a vast wealth of experience and insight, along with a high profile in the channel segment, that provide a foundation and springboard into new partnerships, geographies, industries and revenue.”

The company said its collaborative supply chain platform offers “significant value and opportunity to partner organizations” and that the channel program would help drive growth in new vertical industries and geographies.
