Telcentris Offers Partners Instant-Quote And Contract Development Tool

Telcentris, a supplier of cloud-based VoIP and unified communications services, is launching an online self-service tool for channel partners that helps them develop sales proposals and contracts.

The application, a customized version of SaleStream Software's MasterStream instant-quote and contract creation application, will help Telcentris' channel partner "agents" quickly develop sales proposals and contracts without help from Telcentris channel managers.

Telcentris will be offering the service to agents who have signed a partner agreement and resell the company's IP-PBX, SIP trunking, and related Internet telephony services, said sales director Tad Nikolich. The service will be available through the Telcentris' channel program Web site. The company has scheduled a training webinar for Nov. 8 on how to use the instant-quote system.

The vendor has some 75 channel partners, including a number of "master agent" partners who, in turn, have hundreds of agents of their own. Nikolich said master agents would be able to use the new online tool to manage relationships with their agents.

IT vendors are increasingly providing channel partners with more self-service applications through which partners do everything from tracking their sales and market development funds, to registering deals, to partnering with other solution providers.
