The acquisition will solidify Net@Work's status as one of Sage's top channel partners. The acquisition price was not disclosed.

Net@Work said the acquisition of Forepoint, and what it called "one of the nation's most accomplished Accpac implementation teams," would augment Net@Work's Accpac practice. "Forepoint has a well-deserved reputation for its Accpac expertise, their high level of professional business consulting services, and their focus on customer support," said Net@Work co-president Alex Solomon, in a statement.

Forepoint has more than 500 customers in 12 states, so the deal will expand Net@Work's presence across the Pacific Northwest, the mountain states, and Alaska and Hawaii. Net@Work also said those customers will now have access to the company's line of CRM, document management, human resource management, e-Commerce, and systems integration and IT infrastructure solutions.

Forepoint's team will remain headquartered in Seattle and will continue to serve customers in a dozen Northwest and Midwest states. Forepoint partners Kevin Cumley and John Foster will take on business development roles within Net@Work while partner Sonia Gray will become manager of professional services.

Net@Work has become a major player in the Sage software market through organic growth and acquisitions. The company has a significant practice around Sage's MAS 90/200/500 ERP applications: In April it acquired The Fitzgerald Group, a Sharon, Mass.-based Sage MAS 90/200/500 reseller; and in 2008 bought Integral Computer Services, a Rochester, N.Y.-based solution provider with a significant Sage ERP, CRM and accounting application practice.

Just this week Sage announced that it had given Net@Work its 2010 Top Five Award and was No. 2 on the vendor's President's Circle group of business partners.
