N-able Technologies has promoted JP Jauvin to president and COO, according to the company.

Jauvin joined N-able in June as COO and in his increased president's role he now is responsible for the company's worldwide strategy, sales and operations, as well as overseeing the development and execution of N-able’s core programs, services and technologies, according to N-able.

In just five months, Jauvin has been credited with incorporating a new level of innovation and IT automation into N-able's managed services products, according to Gavin Garbutt, CEO of N-able.

“N-able has become a very exciting and successful growth story for the IT industry. Under the leadership of JP and our executive team, N-able’s MSP partners will continue to reign as the industry’s top-performing MSPs," Garbutt said in a statement. "Together we will ignite the proliferation of managed services in 2011 and seize the opportunity.” Over the last year, N-able’s MSP customers grew the number of SMB businesses managed by N-able's N-central platform by 75 percent, according to N-able. In addition, N-able’s Midmarket Reseller program has grown 100 percent year-over-year.
