NetSuite Recruits Microsoft Channel Partner To Resell Its Cloud Applications

NetSuite has recruited RSM McGladrey Inc., a national accounting firm and major Microsoft Dynamics GP reseller, to resell NetSuite's on-demand ERP applications, CRN has learned.

NetSuite is expected to announce the new partnership at its SuiteWorld conference in San Francisco this week, according to a source that asked not to be identified.

Chicago-based McGladrey has a national technology practice that includes working with applications from Sage, SAP and Deltek, in addition to Microsoft's Dynamics GP applications suite. Dynamics GP is widely seen as the chief on-premise competitor to NetSuite's cloud application set.

The source said McGladrey will be adding NetSuite's on-demand "cloud" applications to its portfolio, but will continue to offer the Microsoft applications.

While Microsoft currently offers an on-demand version of its Dynamics CRM application, its Dynamics GP, AX, SL and NAV ERP application sets are available only as on-premise applications. At the Microsoft Convergence conference in Atlanta last month Microsoft unveiled plans to develop cloud versions of those Dynamics ERP applications over the next several years.
