CRN Podcast: Mark Hurd And The "New' Oracle

Oracle has a new look these days, and it's not just the addition of Sun Microsystems hardware.

The company has made a renewed channel push under President Mark Hurd, recruiting new partners from competitors like HP and improving operational support and communication for those partners. With a fresh indirect sales strategy and a full software-to-hardware enterprise product line, Oracle is becoming a force in the channel like never before.

CRN recently interviewed Hurd and Oracle channel chief Judson Althoff about the company's new direction, as well as the company's latest products, the competitive landscape, and the ingredients of a solid channel strategy.
