Video: Cisco Looks To Boost Partner Valuation Amid Channel M&A

That's the message from Edison Peres, Cisco's senior vice president of worldwide channels, who told CRN that the networking giant is looking for ways to help partners boost their profitability and optimize their valuations as a business. Peres said there's a lot of consolidation in the channel currently, thanks to macro trends like cloud and managed services, and solution providers are interested in maximizing their investment even if they are not interested in selling their business.
