Solution Provider i3 Business Solutions Expands With Prime Focus Acquisition

The acquisition, for an undisclosed price, also brings to i3 the expertise Prime Focus has in network system and design, risk mitigation, on-site technical services, and business productivity and profitability, said Mike Ritsema, i3 president and partner.

While Prime Focus is relatively small with between 25 and 50 customers, Ritsema said the company was known for the high quality of its services.

And the acquisition also added a top-tier senior technician to i3's workforce. "Which we badly needed. It's hard to find excellent talent," he said.

Partnering with IBM, Microsoft and other vendors, i3 offers a range of services in IT staffing, server installation, network management, network security, disaster recovery and backup, and cloud computing.

Ritsema said the company is currently building up its security managed services.
