    IBM's relationship with the channel seems to be on the upswing, so to speak. After IBM Chairman and CEO Sam Palmisano addressed PartnerWorld attendees in Las Vegas last week, he headed to the links for a round of golf with channel executives. Among those replacing divots were Avnet's Rick Hamada and Arrow's Joe Burke. There was no word on the scores or if Palmisano takes mulligans, but reports from the course said one channel executive really stepped up his game. "Burke had one good hole," our spy tells us.
