The Federal Government Is Set On Consolidation [Video]

The race for the White House is tight, and so is the expected budget for the federal government. The name of the game in federal agencies is consolidation these days, and Dynamic Systems CEO Mardi Norman says she expects more of the same in 2013. Everyone wants to do more with less, putting consolidation and virtualization on the forefront.

Norman also anticipated a very gradual transition to cloud computing in government agencies, considering the sector's concerns with tight security. In the coming year, engineered systems and security will remain top of mind for all in Washington.
