Storage Services Market Heading To $30 Billion

Recent VARBusiness research surveying midmarket customers, which are businesses with 100 to 999 employees, found that approximately 25 percent of their budgets are dedicated specifically to IT services needs, including professional consulting and break/fix scenarios, which can be interpreted as opportunities to the service-providing reseller community. Storage hardware and software needs are among the top IT priorities for these midmarket firms' 2004 budgets as well, which also opens the door for product-specific, service-related and solutions-selling opportunities for resellers focusing on the midmarket customer.
