Special Report: Which Vendor CEOs Are Best For the Channel?

Vendors are seeing the value of partners more than ever, but which CEOs are leading their companies into successful partnerships with solution providers?

In a recent CRN roundtable discussion with channel chiefs from six top vendors, CRN editors asked the executives to pitch what their CEOs are doing for the channel.

Here's what executives from Microsoft, Dell and Hewlett-Packard had to say.

Microsoft's Cindy Bates told CRN her company's new CEO, Satya Nadella, will be channel-friendly. "I personally worked with Satya when he was in the Dynamics organization, a very partner-oriented group, and I'm highly confident that that passion for partners that does permeate our DNA is going to continue under his leadership."

Dell's Frank Vitagliano pointed to Michael Dell's recent conversion to the channel, and HP's Jesse Chavez praised the "marked difference" Meg Whitman has made in the company's channel operations.
