Agilysys has enhanced its permission-based partner portal, The Edge, to include tools for solution providers to better track leads, orders, profitability and cash flow, according to the distributor. <P> The Edge includes a business solutions toolkit, a marketing toolkit, and a workflow methodology toolkit to monitor sales cycle activity, said Peter Coleman, executive vice president of Agilysys, Cleveland. <P> "Our enhanced tools are clearly a differentiator for our partners," Coleman said in a statement. "The Edge gives our partners immediate access to information that will allow them to make informed sales decisions all within a single view. The bottom line is better management of their sales pipeline and the opportunity to positively impact their profitability." <P> Other enhancements to The Edge include a streamlined design, more relevant navigation, updated content, better search functionality, and modules that can be expanded, collapsed, deleted or moved to suit the user's needs, according to the company. In addition, solution providers can request real-time support through an instant-messaging feature.
