Leading this week's news, Microsoft's customers vented their frustrations about two major outages in Office 365 applications. Customers called Microsoft out for weak response times and communication. Just as the stress escalated, Microsoft sent out an untimely tweet about rapid response time, leading to much criticism.

HP rolled out an enterprise switching line this week, and it's calling it a Cisco Catalyst 4500 "killer."
The new HP 5400 R Zl2 switch series provides higher performance than its predecessor, making it ideal for enterprise and SMB customers looking for more bandwidth. HP wasn't shy in saying it is targeting Cisco. HP's switches have three times the throughput as Cisco's latest offering and 43 percent lower total cost of ownership, HP said.
Google introduced several new cloud developer tools at Google I/O this week, available for Android OS and the Chrome browser. Google unveiled four new productivity features: Cloud Save, Cloud Debugger, Cloud Trace and Cloud Monitoring. Google also introduced Cloud Dataflow, which analyzes realtime streaming data. Google Drive for Work will now also allow an unlimited amount of cloud storage.
